iSaloni: the Milan mobile hall is pure fun!

Visiting the Salone del Mobile. Milano is always very fun, yes, that’s right, the word is Fun .  And the comparison of a child when going to an amusement park and us, Interior Designers, architects and all those passionate about design when faced with that structure giant fully prepared to receive us, the joy and the expectation are at same.

When arriving at Isaloni, the eyes shine, we want to look at everything, feel that atmosphere, delight in so much information. And it was no different this year of 2017 , in its 56th edition , together, with Euroluce in its 29th edition, the Workplace 3.0 and the 20th anniversary of the Salone Satellite; 343,602 people from 165 countries circulated there, with 2,000 exhibitors, of which 680 are international exhibitors. Significant numbers for only 6 days of exposure, but that are very worthwhile for everyone who was there and attended this great design show.

Isaloni presented a lot, but not only the new releases that triumphed, everything was represented in a new way. A focal light very present in all stands in the highlight of their furniture, fabrics or lamps were evident to attract the attention of all. The green of the forest also took over all the pavilions, not in terms of furniture, of course, these were not left out, but in their organic question. They were alive, shiny and grandiose. Just a wonder.

2017 launch of the Riva 1920 , the Stilo and Materia , desk and Claudio Bellini’s chair , in solid walnut wood, was a highlights of this brand with a very focal light in the furniture introduced..
At Missoni Home, the graphics was this year’s launch in your tissues and the colorful spot lighting drew a lot of attention.
Sama ‘ by Concetta Giannangeli for Moroso it is a From 2017 releases. The focal light was well centered on the product.
Launched in 2015 by Moroso, the collection Ottoman of Scholten & Baijings, obtained the same highlight as the launches current brand names. The focal light was the great asset at most stands.

The Cattelan Italia brought the green forest for exclusive service environment and meetings with suppliers and their representativesA Cattelan Italia trouxe o verde da floresta para o ambiente exclusivo de atendimento e reuniões com fornecedores e seus representantes.

As in all previous years, the design pavilions are among the most visited, this is where many of the renowned and well-known brands are found all over the world, but in this year, the xLux pavilions, these dedicated to timeless luxury, with a contemporary touch, gave a show aside, they were charming and very luxurious.

Versace , reference in elegance is the bet right in the xLux pavilions and this year, right at arrival at the mark, there was his most recent launch, the Shadov chair , in which it leads to silhouette of the famous Medusa, is the new icon of Versace Home.
The Boca do Lobo , a Portuguese brand, it was magnificent. It presented a luxury extremely contemporary across the your space. The Heritage Sideboard, with tiles and their handmade painting, each one telling a different story in different layers of the furniture is a the brand’s tribute to Portugal.
Based on polished brass, Pixel is the launch Boca do Lobo with the purpose of honoring the union between design and craftsmanship. It’s 1088 triangles that complete this piece, in which it takes art, design, luxury and a lot of sophistication

As for color trends, the use of pink and greenish tones was notable, leaving the light pink to old pink and from mossy green tones to hints of burnt green. Many brands bet on this combination and the result was soft environments with a touch of delicacy, however, noteworthy, as the neutral tones complemented the charm.

As for materials, leather has always been very much in evidence, polycarbonate in armchairs and chairs gain reverence and the bronze mirrors were very good coverings appreciated.

In honor of his 70th birthday, Ferrari, in partnership with Poltrona Frau, they launched the office chair Cokpit , all leather, unique material of brand.
This year Cattelan presented many mirrors in the most diverse forms of use. The Paramount trimmer was an example of using this material with the its openings in bronze-colored convex mirrors..

At Euroluce , some consolidated brands were the most visited, their launches were beautiful and not so well-known brands, were innovative.

The Slamp presented The Lightning Archives of Studio Job , lamps brand icons. The proposal was to give them a poetic aura. Elaborated in 7 surrealist identities, each with a specific theme.
Santa & Cole , from Barcelona, presented a lamp or also called a flashlight, Cestita Miguel Milá’s battery . Cestita is a new version of the 1962 project. In different sizes and functions, lighting brings cosiness and warmth to the space.

The Salone Satellite was celebrating, young designers, now recognized, together with new promising in this area celebrated 20 years of exposure.

Workplace 3.0:

And as a solution to fun, encouragement to physical activity, and relaxation in environments. In work, the company HumanScale, introduced Ballo Don Chadwick, a stool ideal multipurpose for various environments.
