My name's Roberta Chies. Nice to meet you!
I love the history of furniture, but especially Italian furniture and “handicraft-art-design” created around the world. I have special interest in native creations by Brazilian people.
I believe that every work in line with design should carry a background, appreciate people and share some content expressed, but mainly interpreted by each and every one according to their personal experience.
For instance, the chair in the photo is called Shadowy. It was designed by Tord Moontje for one of the Made in Italy companies – Moroso.
This work of art was made by hand and it’s one of my favorite pieces as it goes beyond its functionality… It represents the culture and value of human beings, as well as creativity and passion for what you do.
Based on reflections like this one, I’d like to invite you to give thought to extensive knowledge and realities found in the World of Design!
